MERRY CHRISTMAS SHAKER CARD (MAJA DESIGN)

Merry Christmas Crafty Friends!!
We are two days away from Christmas and I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday. Enjoy your blessings, thank God for them all.

Today, I'm sharing another fun shaker card. The paper collection I used is, "It's Christmas Time" by Maja Design. I love the muted, vintage-y colors in this collection.

The word, "Merry Christmas" was cut out on my Cricut Explore and then I used some glossy accents. I added some die-cuts from an Anna Griffin die. For those die-cuts I used Anna's silver foil paper.

Those adorable silver jingle bells were part of some "thank you for your order" trinkets from The Funkie Junkie Boutique, I also buy my Maja Design papers there. Excellent service, and plenty of crafty items to choose from. I'm a craft-a-holic and I love it when my order is shipped that day or the next day. I'm not affiliated with them at all, I just appreciate good service in today's times.

Thank you for stopping by, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SHAKER CARD (GRAPHIC 45)

Hello Crafty Friends!
Today I'm sharing a layered shaker card I made using Graphic 45's "Twelve Days of Christmas" paper collection. I've had this collection for a year and decided to use it before I cut into the brand new "Twas The Night Before Christmas" collection.

I am a G45 addict and I knew I needed to use these papers at some point. And what fun I had with this project. I have really been applying myself with my card making. I can't believe I've been missing out for so long.

The embellishments are from another favorite designer, Anna Griffin. I embossed gold foil paper using Anna's "Snow Flurry" embossing folder by Cricut. I also embossed a layer of the G45 paper as well.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to you and yours!

FUN WINTER CHRISTMAS CARD (SIMON SAYS STAMP)

Hello Crafty Friends!
I'm sharing a fun Christmas card I made using the Simon Says Stamp Village Wafer Dies from the Cold Hands Warm Heart release. I love these dies!!!

My inspiration came from the SSS Designers. I used the Falling Snow stencil and embossing paste. I then inked the background and dies with Tim Holtz Distress inks. I made some glitter glue for snow.

This is the cutest little die set. I enjoyed every minute of making this card.

"ALWAYS HAVE HOPE" CARD (GRAPHIC 45 TIME TO FLOURISH)

Hello Crafty Friends!!
I know it's been a while since my last post. My life has been beautifully hectic lately and I've taken in every bit of wisdom, joy and pain with the knowledge of knowing, "...all things work together...", "...and this too will pass...". God has been teaching me so much about myself lately.....I am thankful that He wants me to be the best "ME" I can be.

I made this "Always Have Hope" card using Graphic 45's new  Time to Flourish 8x8 and 6x6 paper collections and chipboard pieces. I'm still keeping my self-challenge of making at least one card a week, I just haven't had the time to post them.

I created a frame using a Spellbinders oval die. I also used some vellum for my frame. I love the elegance of vellum on a card.

I fussy cut several images from the paper collection but I didn't add many images. I wanted the card to remain sweet & simple.

I did some white embossing. The stamp set is from Little Yellow Bicycle. I don't remember the name of the set. I love the faith sentiments in this set.

For finishing touches just I added some Recollections bling on flower centers, the paper collections chipboard piece and tied a bit of twine.

GRAPHIC 45 BOTANICAL TEA CARD

Hello Crafty friends!
If you've read my previous posts you know that I don't make many cards. I decided that I was going to make at least one card every week (I may make more, who knows). And here's my card for this week.

I used Graphic 45's Botanical Tea paper collection. I find that G45 designs speak to me. This beautiful collection can be used for so many different occasions. The colors are absolutely gorgeous!!!

I needed some "fussy-cut therapy" this week and needless to say, Graphic 45 collections are perfect for fussy cutting.

I did some layering, added a Dusty Attic piece and added some pearls to the flowers just to jazz it up a bit. Nice and simple.

Well, that's my simple little card, I hope you enjoyed it.
Have a crafty day!!!!

VICTORIAN INSPIRED ALTERED BOX - MAJA DESIGN

Hello Crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a wooden box I altered using Maja Design "Vintage Spring Basics" paper collection scraps.  Let me say that I absolutely love this paper collection! I'm not really a frilly type of crafter (I'm working on that)...but this paper collection really brings out my inner girly-girl.

Update: I was asked, so here is the answer....I purchased this paper collection, "Vintage Spring Basics" by Maja Design at The Rubber Buggy. They have a very nice selection of Maja paper pads and single sheets (and other scrapping supplies) and seem to ship almost immediately.

I found this little purse-shaped wooden box in Michael's craft store for 50 cents. I painted it with metallic paint and added dots with modeling paste on the sides to add some texture. I also painted the metal elements on the box.

Maybe this would be considered shabby chic?

I had a cameo embellishment that really came to life surrounded by these paper designs. I fussy cut flowers and butterflies from the paper, added some lace and flower blooms.

I actually used scraps to cover the inside of the box! I added a Prima resin window and more flower blooms....and I made a few distressed tags.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy crafting!!

MAJA DESIGN AUTUMN TAG

Hello Crafty friends!!
Today I'm sharing a tag I made using the gorgeous Maja Design "Walking in the Forest" paper collection. This is a company in Sweden and I LOVE all of their collections!! It was hard for me to cut this paper.

Inspired by Gabrielle Pollacco.... this project I used Kaisercraft wood vine embellishments, Prima Shabby Chic resin pieces, BoBunny bling and some burlap.

I love the Fall season....this brings cooler weather, the leaves start turning vibrant colors and that means Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

The "Walking in the Forest" paper collection has rich, warm colors, pretty leaves, nature and everything that reminds me of Autumn. You can almost smell the apple cider warming on the stove.

I stamped some leaves using the paper collection and cut them out. I also have some skeleton leaves tucked in there but they are hard to see in the photos. The leaf stamp was one I found in the dollar bin at Michael's. I don't remember where I got the sentiment.

The doily is a die, and I think it added a nice touch.
